Our commitment

The Arch Initiative is committed to making www.thearchinitiative.com accessible and usable for as many people as reasonably possible.

We aim to design and maintain the website with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Using this website

We aim to make it possible for visitors to:

  • navigate the website using a keyboard;
  • use common screen-reader and browser-assistance technology;
  • zoom and resize text without losing essential information;
  • understand page headings, links and instructions;
  • access content with sufficient contrast; and
  • use forms with clear labels and instructions.

The website is designed to work with current versions of commonly used browsers and operating systems.

Current accessibility status

The website has not yet undergone a comprehensive independent accessibility audit. We therefore do not claim that every part of the website fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

We are reviewing the website and will address identified accessibility issues where reasonably practicable.

Potential limitations may include:

  • alternative text for some decorative or service images;
  • colour contrast in some branded design elements;
  • keyboard behaviour within third-party website components;
  • form messages generated by the website platform;
  • content or controls supplied by third-party services; and
  • older documents or downloadable materials that may not be fully accessible.

Alternative formats

Contact us if you need information in a different format, such as:

  • a larger-text version;
  • a plain-text version;
  • an accessible electronic document; or
  • an explanation by telephone.

We will consider the request and respond as soon as reasonably practicable.

Reporting an accessibility problem

Please tell us if you:

  • cannot access part of the website;
  • encounter an accessibility barrier;
  • need information in another format; or
  • have suggestions for improving accessibility.

Email: enquiries@thearchinitiative.com

Please identify the page or content concerned and explain the difficulty encountered.

Third-party content

Some website functions may be supplied by third-party providers. Although we seek to use appropriate services, we may not control every aspect of their accessibility.

Please report any problem to us so that we can investigate or provide an alternative.
